The backpack is packed, the hiking boots laced up and off we go. Directly from the hotel. The car can be parked, you don’t necessarily need that. The surrounding waterfalls are within walking distance and child-friendly.
Do you prefer to play it safe or would you like to find out more about the beauties of the Hohe Tauern National Park? We have something for you there too! Guided and accompanied hikes with National Park Ranger are free of charge for our guests!
Do you prefer to get in the saddle of your bike? No problem either. Up the mountain, along the hairpin bends to train your fitness or out of the valley along the cycle path with the destination: Künstlerstadt Gmünd. Sounds exciting? Experience it for yourself!

We love good food – honest, natural and full of flavor. For us, top quality is not an option, but the basis. Only certified organic food is used in our kitchen – carefully selected, sustainably produced and with respect for nature and animals.
The cooking is done by the chef himself: Markus Pirker, host and passionate chef, brings his years of experience and his fine palate to every dish. What is served on the plate must not only be organic, but also home-made, fresh and, above all, really good.
Because our claim is simple: we only serve our guests what convinces us – uncompromisingly, authentically and with great attention to detail.
