Now in the 3rd generation, we see ourselves as a family hotel. There is room for everything on a family vacation at Pirker’s. You can enjoy your time together and switch off from time to time when the children let off steam in the playroom, the soft play area or in the garden and take advantage of the various board and card games on offer. New friendships develop between the children at the hotel and it is often very difficult to say goodbye. Our spacious rooms offer plenty of space and will become your temporary vacation home.

Pedal hard once and you’ll soon be in the art and culture city of Gmünd. That’s how fast it can be when you’re on vacation at Pirker’s. It’s 14 kilometers to be precise. And even those who prefer hairpin bends and fitness will find what they are looking for here in the Maltatal. Throw yourself on the saddle and just start pedaling! The cycling fun starts right outside the hotel door, takes you a long way along the lively Malta River and, if you wish, to unforgettable excursion destinations in the Carinthia region. Here a waterfall plunges into the valley, there the mountain peaks smile at you – a vacation in the mountains could hardly be more beautiful. Believe us!

The 4th generation has decided to break new ground and open the hotel doors to all those who want to take the sustainable path, love nature and actively enjoy the wonderful mountain world with all its opportunities for exercise. Sports enthusiasts and active vacation guests and families are very welcome. Our new hotel name “Pirker’s Natur- & Bio Familienhotel” speaks for itself.
