Holidays with your dog in the Malta Valley

at Pirker’s family hotel

If you want to take your dog with you on holiday, there are a few things to consider. Good planning is half the battle. Can my dog stay in the hotel? If so, in which areas is he allowed to go? How much food do I need? And, and, and… To ensure that your holiday with your dog in the Malta Valley is relaxed, we have summarised our rules for keeping dogs in the hotel here:

The carriage of Four-legged friends are possible to a limited extent at Pirker’s, because we are a dog-friendly hotel. Out of consideration for all other guests, we only accept a certain number of dogs at the same time. We offer you one stay with a house-trained dog per room or family.

Animal information about holidays with dogs

  • Your four-legged friend must be house-trained
  • Our dog package: dog blanket, food and water bowl on request
  • In the hotel as well as on the hiking and walking trails, ” dogs on a leash”
  • There is a charge of € 12 per dog per night (season price 2024/25 without food) and a final cleaning charge of € 25 on departure.
  • Please note that dogs are not allowed in the following areas: restaurant with bar and terrace, indoor pool & sauna, garden in front of the spa area, herb garden and playground.
  • Dogs are not allowed to stay alone in the room/hotel. Please plan your excursions so that you can take your dog with you.
  • Our hotel is located in the middle of two hunting areas and an open pasture area in summer. The droppings of the dogs must be disposed of and must not be left on the meadow! You will find the necessary bags and garbage cans along the cycle path. There is also a waste garbage can for disposal at the hotel. Thank you for your help in keeping the environment clean!

Dog-friendly walks from the hotel

The cycle path, which is also great for walking, runs right past the hotel.
Poop bags and waste containers are provided there for removal and disposal. Your dog’s droppings must be collected from the meadows, pastures, paths and roads and disposed of accordingly.

Subsequent booking of dogs is not possible

As we can only accept a limited number of dogs per period, we ask you to state directly in your request that you are traveling with a dog – so we can plan your vacation in the best possible way.
