On the day of arrival, the rooms are ready for occupancy from 14:00 and you can start your vacation. Check-in to the booked room is possible from 14:00 without exception. Please give us the time to provide you with a sanitized, clean and well-ventilated home for the vacation season. Check in is possible in the evening until 22.00 hrs. If you arrive after 8 p.m., we take the liberty of preparing a snack for you.

On the day of departure, we ask you to leave your temporary home by 10:30 a.m. at the latest – even if it is difficult to say goodbye. This gives us enough time to prepare everything for the next guests in peace and quiet. Thank you for your understanding!

You can cancel free of charge up to 2 months before arrival.
50 % cancellation fee: 2 months to 2 weeks before arrival
90 % cancellation fee: 2 weeks to 1 week before arrival
100 % cancellation fee: from 1 week before arrival, in case of late arrival or early departure

Important: The statutory right of withdrawal (§18 para. 1 no. 10 FAGG) does not apply. The AGBH 2006 and our own cancellation conditions apply.

Pirker’s recommendation:
Protect your vacation with travel cancellation insurance – e.g. with Hotel Cancellation Plus or Premium from Europäische Reiseversicherung. The contract can be concluded directly at the time of booking or within 5 days thereafter.

Note on our vouchers:
Vouchers or prize vouchers cannot be canceled or rebooked. If you cancel, the value is forfeited.

Cancellations must also be made in writing and are only valid after our confirmation.

This means:

• Organic breakfast buffet from 7.30 to 10.00 am:
  fresh pastries, a selection of jams, muesli, sausage & cheese, yoghurt, breakfast eggs, fruit, vegetables, spreads and much more – plus coffee, tea from Sonnentor, cocoa & organic juices.
• For the small appetite of 12.00 to 13.30 hrs:
  crisp salad & hot soup pot.
• For those with a sweet tooth from 3 p.m. to 4.30 p.m.:
  Homemade organic cakes, plus children’s ice cream time in summer.
• Eat something good: Please come to the table from 18.00 to 20.00:
  Children’s menu, starter / salad or soup from the buffet, main course either meat or vegetarian, dessert.
• Drinks included from 7.00 am to 10.00 pm:
  Organic juices, water, tea, coffee – as well as beer & organic wine with dinner.
  *Alcoholic drinks such as wine, beer and non-alcoholic beer are included as part of the evening meal from 18:00 to 20:00.

You can park your car here and start your vacation in nature right on our doorstep. From Pirker’s you can easily reach many of our favorite places in the Maltatal on foot or by bike.

The cycle path starts right by the house and takes you to the impressive Malteiner water features – perfect for a leisurely tour. If you have a little more time, it’s worth taking a hike to the wild and romantic Göß Falls, which you can also reach directly from the farm.

Another natural highlight is the impressive Fallbach waterfall – the highest waterfall in Carinthia and just a stone’s throw away.

On vacation with your beloved four-legged friend? With pleasure – dogs are also very welcome at Pirker’s! Please let us know at the time of your inquiry if you would like to travel with your dog, as we can only offer a limited number of rooms for guests with dogs.

We say: there is no such thing as bad weather, only the wrong clothing.
We therefore recommend that you pack the following: sturdy shoes, a rain jacket, a hat and warm clothing – because the weather can change quickly in the mountains and it can also get chilly.

Those who prefer to stay indoors will find many exciting indoor attractions in the nearby town of Gmünd, such as the Haus des Staunens, the Porsche Museum or the old castle. In addition, numerous cozy cafés in Gmünd invite you to linger and enjoy – perfect for relaxing breaks away from nature.

For our younger guests, Pirker’s has a large children’s club and a soft play area where they can run around and play.

For the loving, individual preparation of your special diet, we take the liberty of charging an additional 20 euros per day.

Our menu is based on high-quality products from the region – including meat, fish, dairy products and eggs – which we process with respect for animals, nature and people. We prefer to work with producers who focus on species-appropriate husbandry and sustainable agriculture.

We understand that a vegan diet is a conscious lifestyle choice for many people and expressly respect this decision – and at the same time ask for your understanding that we do not want to do justice to it in our culinary concept.

Throughout the day, our juice bar and a fine selection of teas in the tea bar are available for you to take for free – in the usual organic quality, of course.

You can also enjoy fresh water straight from the tap at any time – our hotel has the best drinking water in spring water quality.
